JOIN US ON THURSDAY AUGUST 19, 2010
Access Executive Network (AEN) is an executive networking group with a key differentiator – we are a group of successful individuals with a common cause of giving back to the community.
AEN attracts members and attendance through monthly meetings by focusing on its central purpose of giving back and maintaining a close-knit and locally focused community. Individuals benefit from AEN involvement by enhancing their professional connections, which often lead to business opportunities. They also benefit from the support of other executives who have similar experiences and from the opportunity to be involved in a group that supports local charities.

Presenter: Seth Eklund, Executive Director of Bresee Foundation
Business Case: How do we allocate resources to upgrade our proprietary member-tracking software and create distribution channels to market to other organizations?
|
Since its establishment in 1982, the Bresee Foundation has been addressing
the social needs of the community by offering services to low-income youth
and families in the central Los Angeles area.
Bresee endeavors to improve the quality of life in the surrounding
neighborhoods by assisting youth and families in gaining higher levels of
literacy, academic achievement, technological proficiency, career skills,
health and well being, and overall family self-sufficiency. Our purpose is
to offer access to essential resources and services, build upon the
knowledge and skills residents already possess or aspire to attain, and
build a healthier, safer place to live—together. In 2009, Bresee served
2,080 unduplicated children, youth, and adults on site at our community
center through our three core areas of service: Education & Career
Development, Leadership & Social Development, and Family Support Services.
